No bull there young man - Ozzie bent down and gave me his bottle of water as I was rocking man !

And young Phill did the old one foot forward thing with his stainless guitar - polished to a mirror finish and he put his toe right in front of my face....I saw that just beyond the rubber "toe-cap" that the material was fraying - so I stuck my finger in it and tickled between his big toe and whatever they call the next toe?

He looked down and winked at me !
Brilliant Night - Brilliant live band!

He wore "basketball" type pumps with rubber ankle pads and the material bit was all blue and sparkly ! ( sounds gay but he wasn't ! ! )

    He famously said.....

"Has any girl in the audience got a little IRISH in Em ?.......Is there any girl in the audience who want's a little bit more IRISH in em"

There were many takers but not all Irish !

Don't have to lie to impress you guys now do I....lol

Respect, my man. My only claim to fame is I once nearly had a brawl with Ian Drury and that complete and utter pr*ck Elvis Costello. That creep pretends he's a man of the people but I'll never forget when he said "Do you know who I am, you f*cking c***s, I'm f*cking important, not like you lot."

I always think of my darling wife when I hear Madona.

Tears for fears reminds me of George Kerr.

We don't have to take our clothes off remind me of a one night stand (before I met my wife) She did by the way

Lbj, you have slightly extrapolated from what I said. The circumstances were that on a Stiff tour ID was heading to the stage and simply fell over. As I and a colleague went over to help him up a furious EC (who had clearly recently visited a state in South America) rushed up and accused us of attacking ID and then came out with the bollox I mentioned above. He also threatened to get his roadies to do us over. the guy is a complete rrsehole but most people think he's great. Which is why I dont give much of a f*ck for majority opinions.

No need to explain - never thought you were attacking them - the "beating up" jest was just that - a jest....

    Good story though.....

I don't have a claim to fame although the house I live in used to have all-night parties with the likes of Tom Jones, Screaming Lord Sutch, Paul Nicholas and many others attending.

Back in the early 70's at the Cavendish / Bailey Suite I let my girlfriend ( now my beloved ) to dance with Les Gray & the rest of the lads from Mud.
They must have been playing Sheff Uni like Led Zep, Paul Macca & others did in those days.
To cut a long story short my girlfriend dumped Les Gray & came home with me.....
Every cloud has a silver lining...I hope it does anyway.

    HAPPY DAYS.
