First thing is to say, if you are going to do this properly Frog (and you are the one running the awards!) then you need to decide on the awards and not just have loads of random ones added, then let people vote! Maybe you should go through the various ideas on here and use the best? Anyway, I'll give my answers to some of the ones already posed.
Best thread - As the awards master of ceremonies, and the moderator on here, you should go through the whole year's threads and post links for the best you can find and then let us vote!
Most articulate poster - It's tough, there are a few. I would probably go with KerrAvon, but it's tight.
Player of the year - Lol.
Manager of the year - LOL.
Best poster - Now I know a few of you have jokingly voted for yourselves, but I am obviously the best poster on here. As we shouldn't be allowed to vote for ourselves though, there a few.... There are a lot of people who provide a lot in different ways, funny, informative, etc, etc. But I will have to go with Kempo - just because he is an intelligent poster, who has the ability to wind people up, and he often gets people talking.
Best gambler - Obviously gwru.
Most in denial - lbj. Embarrassingly so.
Most informative - millertop, yeah I'd second that.
2016 says it like it is poster.. Ellis D (Not voting, but I do speak from the heart, sometimes I go over the top but I am always honest... Except when on a wind up, obviously!)
2016 Most Intelligent Poster - Again, there are several. John2 is in there, as is Kempo, but I will probably go with KerrAvon.
2016 Disappearing Act Award - Jolly Roger (a much missed poster, the funniest guy in here)

Wittiest poster - Would have been Jolly Roger, obviously me now. But as I won't vote for myself, it's a toss up between Monty and Kempo. I'll give it to Monty.

I never vote in these beauty contests as the UTM brigade who confuse Captain Oates heroism with trudging around the country to watch RUFC and kissing our chairman's rrse always vote for like-minded types. In the past I have voted for best bogus doctor on MM, best dead racehorse impersonator and best Gestapo agent but would not do so again.

Ellis and gwru had me down as "witty" when all my posts are deadly serious. Something is wrong somewhere. As for you, young sir, I spotted your comedic reference to me being a double act with a notorious b*ll****ter, bogus professional, multiple poster (including masquerading as a dead racehorse) and general ne'er-do-well so had not immediately realised you were paying me a compliment.
