But - to answer your statement - Izzy was contracted to us for a full season - Stubbs would have a lot to do with that with his Everton coaching contacts at U21 level and Doolan' with his Wigan youth coaching.

As it was going the matches against TOP teams were being lost by single goal margins and potentially winning performances - ( Newcastle ) - this would have increased confidence and we would have gone on to beat lesser teams.

Our use of Izzy would have gone on to the end of the season as would Stubbs and his team.

Kicking on next season as was the plan.

Read the time line I've added for your convenience. Chelsea placed him at Rotherham because of Stubbs....fact

Stubbs sacked.....raised eyebrows at Chelsea....but waited to see if KJ would use Izzy's obvious ability. But NO!

Then when fitness coach took over - he was withdrawn ASAP

Bottom line is if we still had Stubbs we would have Izzy - because Izzy would have helped us into a mid table position by now.....

Do we know for DEFINITE that Chelsea loaned him to us because of Stubbs? I find that hard to believe. I think it's more likely that we asked for him on loan to us and they accepted. Simple as that, the manager wouldn't have made a difference.

I find it even harder to believe that the sacking of Stubbs raised any eyebrows at Chelsea.

He wasn't withdrawn ASAP if it was the 6th of January.

And I don't think we would have kept Izzy had we kept Stubbs. I think we'd have fewer points, and that Izzy had become disillusioned and jumped at the first chance to move as soon as he could.... Which was 6th January......

I can only laugh at your assertion that Stubbs and Izzy Brown would have got us to mid table. Ronaldo would struggle to help this lot into mid table, especially with Stubbs as manager.
