    Brilliant!

One year on and still he who shouldn't be named is being defended!

Lets see how he gets on at his new club.

Oh, how I wish I could stop joining in on these threads

I thought Fry was poor.. But saying that he had a poor partner next to him most of the time he was here. So really hard to judge. Izzy was class but faded in games and missed a few sitters 2 at Burton springs to mind. But again in a **** team. For me Adeyemi was the best out of the 4 .But i do like Vaulks and if he stays, a future captain maybe .

Frog...just in from the Camembert fields picking the best Camembert off the bushes for the home market....

Don't blame me they started it sir !

And history doesn't change - Germany still invaded Poland despite what the Germans want us all to believe....

Personally - quite cheered by the season ticket sales.....just want some logic after a season of absolute madness.

PW as manager - for me is on the job training but organic growth always brings it's rewards.

A couple of years in league one - and confidence will return - the championship is brutal and we clearly never threw dosh at it did we....that's the real back story....a lack of tactical nouse from the fans and the board.......Oh and a lot of in house politics.

Finally LBJ we agree Stubbs was the wrong man for the job. 4 from 13 made Evans look like a transfer god

Btw did you see my bit about who you would retain from Warnock's cull ?

Cayton - you SUN writer you...lol

"Finally LBJ we agree Stubbs was the wrong man for the job. 4 from 13 made Evans look like a transfer god

Btw did you see my bit about who you would retain from Warnock's cull ?"

Point one....Individuals don't really matter BUT SACKING ANY MANAGER AFTER 13 GAMES IS - JUST WRONG !
.......Ask any football professional manager.....but with ALL those mitigating circumstances....just wrong !

And point two : The great CULL.

Again - Individuals don't really matter - the point is THE NUMBERS !

    They ALL needed replacements.

The foundations were set for a catastrophic season due to all the inherent faults built into the club over the previous years.

Stubbs was used as a scapegoat and the real reasons for our planned descent hidden and / or not identified by anyone other than those with the knowledge / intelligence / experience to identify the WOOD from all the camouflage.

    Sun writer stuff this.....lol 😊

I'll join the debate. Stubbs: signings.

Vaulks best actual signing. Adeyemi best loan. Izzy he's like Swift a nearly player. OK when things are going right but wouldn't go to war with either of them.

Fisher, Ball & Forde league 1 is there level at the moment but Ball has abit of scope to play higher.

    Taylor I'd sell. Just don't think he's a winger.

Price, Wilson, Fry, JFC, Allen & Blackstock terrible signings.

lbj, you were only give him 15 games of a honeymoon period. He had 13 league games and a couple of cup defeats.

He didn't wave and that wound people up - Of that you were right to defend him.

He said that he had broad shoulders and could take the stick thrown at him.

Out of everything he did and said from the position he found himself in after accepting the job. He should have done his homework on the players left here after The Cull of Warnock. Actually I recall him saying that he was happy with the squad and the players in it.

The bizzare trip to Poland. I don't believe that he organised it. I think he was dropped into a position that he made the best of. On that trip he said that it was a team bonding excersise and went on to demantle the squad left to him.

In Scotland he was looking for a certain type of player to do a job and was on the cusp of something good. Neil Lennon went on to take over and won promotion. The players he needed for Rotherham United were different. Those players he sign would have been great in Scotland maybe.

Everyone has their opinion on players. Some think a player is good and a guy two seats to the left think he's the worst signing ever. Neither or right or wrong.

It is all a matter of opinion.

In your head you're right and others will agree with what you're saying. Many on this MM board don't agree with you but they are neither right or wrong. It is just opinion.

I woud like to bring you back to a statement made by Alan Stubbs 16-09-2016 http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/footb...fans-1-8119129

    29-09-2016 http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/footb...test-1-8155296

These two things said by Stubbs and written by Paul Davis are the underlaying problems that the Majority of fans had with Stubbs.

These two things along with very pour results!

You can't convert any of us but you will write down points that people will agree with. But it is only your opinion.

If you wat to raise a pont on Stubbs the club have revamped their website and their complete history seems to be commercial agreements.
However Paul Davis has all the interviews and pieces on the Stars website.

It's a bit of a drag finding what you're looking for but it is worth it.

We'll never know now and opinions are just that.

But the abuse that guy got and all those mitigating circumstances - we'll beyond Stubbs's controlled - we're enough to give the guy time.

The majority of abuse was based on pure ignorance of our situation and how we
( and Burton ) had to play - to survive !

Possession stats being a typical misinterpreted base for the insults.

Simple fact - this is a football blog - whatever - yet their are only a few that recognised the actual football circumstances and - as you say - different people - different views...

Taylor - sell him - good player
    Izzy - poor....?
    Wood - consistent - woefull

Absolutely flogging a dead horse because you can't educate pork.....but .

    Sacking a manager....
    Abusing a manager....
    Ignoring mitigating circumstances....
    Not understanding basic football facts...

Shouldn't happen...but it did - and it cost us ( our only chance ) of a Burton style survival.

KJ ran a mile - NOT from what AS did but from the club's lethargic attitude.

PW was a planned descent into league one.....not a snowflakes chance in he'll under Warne !

We surely all know now the lack of funds scuppered the purchase of "championship players".....and AS did well to get a squad together in a short time within the financial constraints.

But we could only play one way !

Izzy was the key and PW & KJ dropped him and tried to play open football and that was suicide.....as the points total proved.

Were we 6 points adrift when AS went....yet miles away at the end of the season.

Performances were improving - we were creating chances - Ward was scoring !

But Wards goals were let down by the usual suspects. We needed to get rid of dead WOOD! Halford - Kelly - Smallwood.

Clear as a Bell - but sorting the mess out Stubbs inherited takes a season !

End product Burton in championship RUFC in league one....

Everyone has different views but ignore facts that scream out as detrimental to our season...

They wanting him out - they got what they wanted.....but the logic is flawed.

People re-affirm their decision so won't Chang now but the facts are there and any football professional would laugh at sacking Stubbs - under the circumstances particularly - and those that wanted AS out have got what they deserve......due to pure ignorance.

Just my opinion.......but logical - not blind anything.......blind is something others are to VERY pertinent facts.

    Up the Millers....
