1-1 was probably about right. We were the better team I reckon but didn't create enough chances to deserve the win.

I like the look of Davis. Holds the ball up well but I still think we looked a better team when hogan came on. We're going to be really strong once we have snoddy Jedi and Kodjia back. Whelan looks like he's up to speed now. We also looked better when bree came on.
I can only see us improving.

very impressed with davis, he didn't let his head drop after 10 minutes when baker had him in his pocket... he just kept plugging on and eventually outshone baker ( rather have him than terry any day).

Agree mondaze, Terry's penalty appeals for shirt grabbing vs him hugging opponents when defending corners!

Bree and Elmo look a good combo down the right, Whelan looks really comfortable and for me a better option than the Jedi - allows Onomah the freedom to support Davis. Really impressed with Onomah, very comfortable on the ball and looks to pass it forward.

I thought the team were good 2nd half, mixed up the play - anyone else thinking that SJ is prone to flapping at times?

Glad you're starting to like Hogan now Bongo.

Weird about Whelan. I read where he had no chance of keeping Jedi out as he wasn't a patch on him.

I guess Jedi can still be an option if we're playing 3 at the back. He's probably better than Samba. I still think we need Jedi in our side and could play next to Whelan.
I was never against Hogan but my belief is you need to earn the right to ware the shirt. Hes done nothing so far but I do see a good player.

Agree with both points. Although with two elder players both defensive in their careers it makes us automatically defensive
