I can usually smell an agenda a mile off and Cudareli's agenda stinks to the high heaven!

We don't want to be like other forums. Simples!

This forum is different because it does not tell you who the referee for the next game is, how many points Gudmundsson scored on some mad poll that has no relevance whatsoever, how the under-23's have gone on etc. because like Cudareli says you can find that information on a very broad spectrum of other sites.

One click on BFC related NewsNow and it's all there for you!

This is a bit like a " Claret Oddfellows" debating society. We have genuine discourse and enjoy a difference of opinion. Fantasy football is not our bag because we tend to concentrate on the real stuff.

We have an unwritten code of conduct that suits most on here. Cudareli despite your obvious distaste for our forum, you are more than welcome to join in the banter but it seems to me, we might just be a bit too eclectic on here for your rather more modest requirements?

this guy is just trying to wind us all up- no interest in football whatsoever. Best to ignore instead of rising to the bait.

Surely the forum can adapt a little? Why don't we give player ratings or call out the players who played well and who didn't?

I'll start, I thought Robbie Brady was horrid on the weekend, piss poor.
Cudareli, Jack Cork is top class, he was exactly what we've needed since David Jones departed, his partnership with Defour gives us a PL standard midfield for the first time, and a real chance of surviving at this level for another year. Gudmundsson is a bit of an enigma, a very intelligent player but a bit lacking in pace. He took a while to adapt last season then just as he seemed to be hitting form he got injured, he came back, took a few games to hit his straps, then picked up another injury. He's had a couple of quiet games so far but it does seem to take him a few games to get himself going, so I'm hoping he can stay injury free and become a very useful player for us. For what it's worth, imo he has a lot more to his game than we've seen yet at Burnley, and another pointer is that Dyche clearly rates him, as soon as he's fit, he starts him, he could be a big player for us this season.

I've only recently started posting on this forum regularly, so I've no idea why there's no player ratings thread. It's a sound enough suggestion and easy enough to start one, so if no one else does, I'll start one myself after the next game I've seen.

I agree with you about Brady, he was awful against WBA. He's been a disappointment since he arrived, and despite paying £13m for him Sean wasn't giving him regular starts last season. You can see the ability, he can be lethal with that left foot, but strangely he seems to lack confidence in himself at times and struggles to do the simple things well. Scored one and made one last night, maybe a turning point for him, like Joey I think there's a lot more to come from him, we ain't seen nothing yet....hopefully.

I think your original criticisms were fair enough, if made maybe a tad too aggressively. No one is forced to read or contribute to this forum, so if they don't like it the way it is the solution is obvious. Those that do stick around clearly like it the way it is, and I think you'll find all the contributors, while having different opinions and personalities, are a decent, friendly enough group of people. And tolerant of others who treat them with respect.

    Well said Sinkov.

But I tend to agree with other posters too.

The OP seems to have an ulterior motive here. He/she is describing what is available on another site - which he/she must be aware of.

If that's what you want then fine, but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole for several reasons.

Constructive criticism/suggestions are fine and very welcome but I suspect that the OP was not really about that at all.

Aw - you blighters seem to have driven him/her away.

This is such an unfriendly board it's no wonder we don't have player ratings.

I think we need more agendas on here and less plain speaking.

Can I make a suggestion to the mods - tell us your fantasies!

Does anyone know the Newcastle score from last night?
