No. It would have been swift action if the party had acted yesterday when they (and you) were trying to brazen it out and were saying that no further action was necessary. They've acted today only because further revelations forced their hands.

Let's see what the investigation finds. I'm sure that it will be very thorough and will exonerate all concerned. Perhaps Ken, Ken and Len are still available to give the clean bill of health:

Strange how you're straight on when the Labour party is concerned, yet fail to put your head above the parapet when a tory commits a misdemeanor, and lets face it, there's much more history of this kind of stuff in the tory closet than there ever will be in the Labour one, but you're same as most tories, blinkered to the point of being pathetic.

I'm straight on when someone spouts nonsense upon an issue that interests me. Or are you standing by your 'swift action' claim and denying that Labour only acted when its hand was forced?

This thread isn't about a Tory MP, which makes it both a pity but sadly inevitable that you would try to make it so, but I'll humour you; which Tory misdemanour do you have in mind?

What would be the point, really Kerr? For what it's worth, i didn't try and "brazen" anything out, we're not all as cynical as yourself, i posted as i saw it, it was many years ago, and he'd apologised, so some new 'evidence' has apparently come to light, and the Labour party has acted until it investigates, a thoroughly correct thing to do, something which this gov't that you wholeheatedly support could never do, they'd be squirming and scheming and trying their very best to spin it out.

What would be the point? I would have thought that given that you accused me of ignoring misdemeanours and got a wee bit personal about it, you might have the courtesy to illustrate the point with an example.

Seemingly not. I'm guessing that you find it easier to spray about allegations than to substantiate them.

I know that you posted as you saw it - through the heavy filter of your political prejudices. Far from being 'straight on' however, I was happy to watch with amusement until you went too far.

If it helps salve your frustration and anger, I found great fire's apparent conversion to 'political correctness' amusing too. I guess he was posting it as he saw it too.

Yes, some boy is great fire...

    Ok, just done a quick bit of research, and this list is not exhaustive by a long way, as i suspect you already know;

PM Cameron telling a fellow MP, to "calm down dear" = ***ism at the heart of gov't.
Chancellor Hammond saying "Even a woman can drive a train"
A whole host of tory MP's cupping their hands and shouting "melons" when a female MP speaks..
Tory MP Nicholas Soames making "woof woof" noises....
Tory MP Phillip Davies doling out awards such as "lying feminist of the year"
Tory councillor calling Nicola Sturgeon a "drooling hag"...
Boris the buffoon calling people "piccaninnies"...
Tory MP Anne Morris using the N word in the commons....

    That's after a short search...

My favourite is tory MP George Young .

" ah yes the homeless , aren't they the ones you step over coming out of the Opera House "

Mind you he was probably factually correct so that would make it ok I suppose with certain tories .

Shows the tories have class as at least he steps over them. I was going to say I heard David Blunkett just used to step on them but my advisors have told me to remain politically correct.
