Because he follows Rafa's game plan.

    At a guess.
This trust shoite again, when Mbemba was at left back he looked pretty solid to me like and even more comfortable whilst going forward. If I was defending the right wing,I would prefer Manq coming at me as opposed to Mbemba..

It's not shoite is it though.

It's clearly a key thing of how Rafa manages, he feels he has to trust the players and both Mbemba & Mitro haven't got the trust, hence they don't start.

True!! but I would hope that the Hoss is playing behind Gayle, and when Gayle hobbles off in the 23rd min:
I'm offering odds of 1/1000 of Perez replacing him and 1/100 for Murphy and three trillion to one for Mitro any takers, max stake for Mitro is one gazillion pounds sterling..

I was looking at it from what we'd heard from the Liverpool fans but it does make a lot of sense.

No other reason that they wouldn't be starting otherwise.

Because his hold up play and link up play is the best of all the strikers we have at the club.

Thank DIOS Perez has been dropped. I really love the lad, even my Toon shirt has his name & number but the lad just needs to be taken out of the team.....for our sake and his. I hope he can come back stronger, improved and focused while keeping his chin up.

I'm predicting a big win now!

    4-2 to us!

Gayle with a couple, Atsu and Mitro with the other.
