Yes me too, but I couldn't see the point in the first place because TP couldn't have been taking any notice because as soon as he took charge he wanted them playing a bit higher up the field.

With Pardew and Carver we know it's going to be a short fix as he always gets results early on and we will be safe again...but for the future with these two we won't progress...so IMHO the future is not bright more bland than anything else.

    Hi Murph
It's all hyp with this short success thing he's on a 2 half year contract after that time we may be buzzing & playing some great stuff with a loads of new players by then , give him time , yes I know exactly where your coming from & his record backs that up , what happens if his contract is coming to an end & were all happy playing football like the Wolves 😉 do we twist or stick ? Let's get behind him give him a chance give him money if we can ? Nothing but Nothing can be worse than Tony pulis's football well none football .

I want West Brom to succeed and be a respected club and will give them every chance to achieve that for us...now that TP has departed, going to as many games as I can manage is back on again.

    Absolutely Blood.

Definitely not my first choices but then I didn't actually have to make any, and we all have to admit it's easier to say yea or nay from the safety of our laptops. Having gone with Pardew I'd have preferred Shakey to come in as his number two but it looks like that ship's sailing to Everton.

The bonus with Carver is he's aware of Kid Chocolate's excesses, so can hopefully act as an effective foil to prevent Pards eating himself. Just can't get Carver's pressers at Newcastle out of my head though. Although he came across as having a real passion for the game they made for chronically depressing car crash TV. Meant to be a very good coach (by his own admission) but the proof of the pudding's in the eating.

Still, got to go with what's going on and hope for the best.
Fifty years since we won the FA Cup in May and Pards does love a Cup run so who knows?

All the best Al' and John, onward and COYB .

In the words of Carly Simon in regards to Pards....

You walked in to the Hawthorns like you were walking into some s h y t e,

Your hat strategically dipped below one eye, your scarf it was blue and white,

You had one eye in the mirror as you watched yourself walk by,

And all the players prayed you'd be their best mate, you'd be their best mate.

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you, don't you, don't you!?

I hear you bussed it to Dunstall Park races and your horse naturally won,

Then you flew by Ryan Air down to Bognor Regis to see the total eclipse of the sun,

You promised Evans and Gauchun Lai Prem survival and no chance of League One,

And all because Pards is super human and doesn't do "squeaky bum"

    You're so vain.....

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, but i am already liking what i am hearing. A return to flamboyant football, playing on the front foot, pressurising teams.
He said we will attack and sometimes end up with a bloody nose, this appeals more than anything because it's always been the Albion way.
He reckons he can get the best out of J Rod and Rondon, and i believe he will, these players, most of our players, have been starved of adventurous football for so long, and i think we will see more of the flair players like Burke, Chadli and Field.
Yes he is arrogant, vain and a bit of a loose cannon, but so was Atkinson. Manager's personalities usually reflect on the teams they manage, Pulis was a good example.
Anyway like him or not he is our manager, he wants to get us playing like Albion once again, we should all get behind him and help him toward his quest.
    It won't happen overnight though.
