Wigan supporters in pub on Sat told us Ipswich have accepted a Wigan bid for Moore. Surprised we'd not heard about it. We need to be sweet -. talking David Hirst about his lad.

Yeah lets sign a kid that's played 2 games and scored no goals in his professional career.

There's no opportunity of this being a realistic long term signing and allowing us to work towards building a squad of our own players capable of challenging in league 1, rather than acting as a development squad for other clubs players.

Good players attract other good players.
That probably why D Ball / Proctor signed assuming the cash was good enough. One signs and the other one thinks there's some quality there and that's good for my career
So if we did sign someone like George Hirst then another Striker might just choose us - assuming the cash was ok
He's being chased by a number of clubs so he's clearly got ability
He plays for England U20 who are the World Cup holders at that level so he's clearly got ability
I think he'd be virtually unstoppable by Div 1 defenders which would be entertaining, exciting and good for RUFC.

Meanwhile PW has to decide. I have X amount to spend in January. If Moore comes available at the end of January do I blow my budget on 2/3 signings or save it for Moore!
Hmmm. Maybe he's thinking loans because he knows more than we do regards Moore..

Or maybe he has no budget to spend
How very dare you suggest our chairman might be telling porkies!
We have a top 5 budget don't you know plus all the Danny Ward money to spend in January..........well we do don't we? 😕

Casper64Frank if we are going down the loan route Bogle not a bad shout.
Bogle is playing for Cardiff and scoring but I'm sure he'd love to pack that in and join us 😊

Yeah that's why I said my quote was tongue in cheek lol.
When he signed for Cardiff NW told him he was 3rd choice striker. Fair play to him with Zahore last seasons top scorer out injured he's took his chance well although he was red carded recently......he's not coming....mores the pity.
Anyone expecting a £1M signing may be disappointed, back to the drawing board and 4/5 to go out first. 👎
Carl Robinson at Charlton had the biggest budget in League 1 last season they only just made mid-table.
ROBINSON has had 2 transfer windows Charlton won't be far off this time. 👋

2 questions, one that I've asked you several times before but you've never given a proper answer, maybe this time you will.

    1. How do you know Bailey-King is better than the wingers we've got based on seeing him play for about 10 minutes? ('I can just tell' and 'He's got to be' aren't answers)

    2. Which other winger, who's better than what we've already got, we could afford and would also be willing to play in league one would you sign then?

You seem to have a very simplistic view of football which is just 'get rid of everyone and sign some better players'. Do you honestly think it's that easy? Despite your claims that you 'know your stuff' you don't seem to have much of an understanding of how football works.

He's not exactly ripping it up at Aberdeen 😁. Only played 4 games though to be fair 3 of those were clean sheets

Not played since October 14th. Is he injured or has he had a fall out with manager.

I'm not sure it can work like that cayton.

I could be very wrong but if Moore plays for Ipswich and then is sold to anyone other than us he can't play for the rest of the season.

The reason I say that is because I wa under the impression that a player can only play for two sides in a season. As I said. I could be wrong.
