anything that was right about last season´s defence had to do with Bartley, though Green had some great games, ill give you that, but so good id be looking backwards? no, not for me, must be better out there than Wiedwald who is crap, Longeran out of his depth and Green whos past his sell by date.
dont get me started on Cooper either.

Think i have learnt to enjoy the wins and let the powers to be make the decisions on what/who we need,Both our keepers have been suspect thats been plain to see, Someone said earlier that just after Felix dropped his clanger the save just after that just hit him and he didnt know much about it, Well a couldnt give a toss where it hit him he saved it and won us the game, Same as when we score who cares how it goes in.

agree with that Pete, theres been slow progress from the momment Cellino came in, through Evans, Monk and now Christiansen. Its funny now how we compain about not being in the top 6 rather than looking over our shoulders as we were doing in the past, and we compain about our shighte strikers who score 30 and move on for big fees. Im enjoying the way we play this season, a big improvement, love watching Hernandez, Saiz and Alioski.
Still need a Goalkeeper and a CM with Cojones though!

Couldnt agree more,When we are good its a joy to watch, Although when we are bad we are bad,Just need an inbetween to pick up points when we are bad, We are in a good position to say the amount of games we have lost, But hey the beauty of the Championship...

Can't disagree with either of you about any of that.

I'm not suggesting we get Green, just commenting that he's a lot better than what we have now.

I just want to get somebody better, because whilst we're doing pretty well overall, we would be in an much, much better place with a decent keeper in the team.

The save after the goal was a good one , credit where credit is due . However, you might argue though that the chance came about from his previous blunder putting us under pressure late on .

Can't see the club getting another GK in January. The club supported TC when he was under fire acknowledging that the current project/vision is a long term plan and refused to give knee jerk reactions . I fully expect Felix to be given the same backing with time/chances to get it right.

Having said that if there were a new GK to be brought in I wouldn't complain.

i know when the keeper makes a mistake its amplified, we all see it, but for me (and ive been banging on about this for 2 seasons now) the biggest issue is a real old school leader in midfield, we get overrun on a regular basis in midfield, QPR battered us 1st half, and they´re gash, Vieira/Phillips just dont have the experience. I think that 1 addition would be even more instrumental to future success that replacing the keeper.

How do you get the experience though BB? I believe there is some merit to what your saying but that's just not the direction the club is going in. All the squad have bought into the project and are being backed . We may we'll sign another CM in January but I reckon it will again be a another young prospect .

Difficult for the fans to be asked to be patient once again but finally it seems we are back on a level playing field this season with the take over/ground buy back/ no pending bans or club fines etc.

Understand what you're saying Jimmy, but I agree with Benidorm - a CM that would instruct, rally, demand, lead, control the ball - a truly experienced player who the others would look to when things were going well, or badly and harness and use all the fantastic talent we have in the squad from younger players at present.

Like when we signed a certain Gordon Strachan in 89. Batty and Speed were 22 and 19 respectively at that point. Phillips and Viera are currently 22 and 19.

Mavo´s right about where the club is headed, so we may have to be patient, and you nailed it Jez, i had Strachan on my mind when i made the comment before!
Anyway, it all looks better than it has for a few seasons now, so onwards and upwards!
