I reckon we should have a Christmas truce, seeing as it could be the last Christmas before Brexit kicks in and spoils everything

It's my 65th birthday tomorrow so I will temporarily "retire" from any political threads. All I want is three points.
Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to you 59/60. Never ceases to amaze me this Brexit nonsense, every time I think we've done it to death, we find something else about it to fall out over. Anyway I shall try and respect the Christmas truce, we can kick off again in the New Year.

A Merry Christmas to you ID, and while I'm at it could I apologise for my 'every village' remark the other day, you were being rude to another poster so I thought it OK to be rude to you. Not on, I apologise.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Looks like winter arrived in SW Ontario with a vengeance yesterday with 10cm of snow along with colder temperatures. We’ll be mired in winter until at least the end of March, but it beats the hell out of constant rain as far as I’m concerned. Chin up though, I’m off to Montego Bay middle of January for a couple weeks of fun and frivolity in the sun.
