Don't be so hasty. I'm sure the guys who got left behind at Dunkirk got a medal?

For United to turn round the current shambles we need to adopt the Dunkirk spirit and start fighting (albeit on Tannadice and other parks rather than beaches, landing grounds, hills etc).

today was a shambles! players dont look like they give a F. look as if they have thrown in the towel. saw st mirren going 11pts clear and thought ah well we had a good run when we had fyvie and fraser.

    Lewis - lost all confidence
murdoch and robson- looked scared to go across half way
durnan was ok without being impressive but quinn wow! shocking
    flood - headless chicken
stanton - tried but couldnt do everything
mcdonald- wanted to be on the radio for celtic game (needs to be up top imo)
Lying and king - hardly got at their men or put a cross in
mikkelson- quality up to him was poor but didnt do much

the 2 french boys imo looked like the amateurs they are! kadded looked up for it then got booked then hide imo martin didnt do much

the only one who looked ok to me was slater he actually looked like he wanted to get the ball on the floor and spread some passes

no fight, no heart, no pride. no putting the body on the line to get the result. morton arent mugs but everyone knows what they do! strong, physical and good at set pieces. they worked soooo much harder than us. they wanted it more and got what they deserved.

whats worrying me is whats happened since the first couple of games under CL?? someone posted about it. the first couple of games we were attacking with intent, getting crosses in the box, pressurizing the opposition and looking good. but in recent weeks we've looked a shadow of that team! now we're scared to cross the ball or take a man on? get shots on goal? wheres that went? surely CL not telling them to be that way?

back to the basics of what he done when he 1st came in is required!!

that was one of the biggest fan clear outs ever at the 3rd goal! though in fairness, the East Stand in particular has cleared out in like-fashion on many occasions in the past when we have been getting humped, even when we have had decent sides, the difference is today it happened at game against Morton in the Chumpionship.

I wonder if Laslo will make the players watch the rows of empty seats for motivation.

I wonder how many teams have been successful by not tackling or shooting.

We were promised a reaction from the players after the Falkirk massacre and we got nothing. Our players really don't give a sh1t.
Seeing emptying stands will have no affect on them whatsoever.

It almost looks like csaba has lost the dressing room, the performances of late have been pathetic.

Sadly United won't be going up this season. United have lost twice to St Mirren this season, drew with bottom league team Brechin ( who only have 4 points ) and lets not forget the 6-1 thrashing from Falkirk.

It's been a struggle for United to grind out results against Dumbarton and Inverness, never mind the 0-3 humiliation against Morton.

There are 13 league games left and St Mirren are organised, there players are up for the fight and United won't catch them - no chance.

We will make the play offs , but it will end in failure.

With only 13 games left neither the players or the manager are going to suddenly find their mojo.

The players and manager have to take collective responsibility for the shame they have brought on the proud tradition of United.
