I think he might be fit and had been for a while, but fit to other clubs and not ours. If he has an iron deficiency then he will get tired easier and take longer to recover. If the fitness test is generic and he passes then hey presto he’s declared fit! Our coaches may ask for more. Hecky always says because we lack the quality that other teams buy, each man has to do that little bit extra for each other. Therefore he maybe not be as fit to us as he is to others. Personally I think it was a good move all around because it’s now easier to manage.
Am sure the club wuddant ev pillaked us abart iron deficiencies as a cover up fo summat else. Hull mustev plenty of iron tablets in cupboard.
Probably sour grapes because he was hauled off at half time against his boyhood team (Reading) whilst his parents were there.
