No problem. I hope I didn't spoil it for you. Although Mr C wasn't with us at the end of the season he had messed things up enough for us to be in the promotion/relegation play-offs. We finished 4th bottom, the bottom 3 went down and we were in a play-off with the 4th 5th and 6th teams from the 4th division. We lost over 2 legs to Swansea and got relegated. Swansea went on to win the play-off final and came up. Too cruel a system - never want to see that again.

How did we end up with him? A cheap option who seemed to disappear from football following his stint with us.

He came to us from Donny after hanging his boots up if I remember correctly?

My only memory of him was him being sent off in a Friday night game at Northampton's old County Ground where we held on for a scintillation 0-0 draw. Must have been late 80s when I was living around there.
