My dad has actually played twice for Burnley.

1958 at home to Arsenal and Charlton.


He was a member of the Water Prize Band who performed at both these fixtures.

And topically, he was a raging anti-sematic, fiercely German nationalistic and an all round bad egg. He despised all things Jewish, especially music and especially Mendlessohn.

Beethoven, Schubert, Shostakovich and Dvorak are my favorites, but there is so much good stuff to choose from.
