Another one of the twists and turns that we keep on about, rest assured there will be some more before the season ends. Two teams that are fighting for their Championship survival Sunderland and Hull have arrived at Molineux and done a job on us. Sunderland had five across the back and Hull bettered that by managing to string six players across the back.

We should be capable of beating these teams, but last night the team looked tired and off the pace.

This site does my head in, I have made three attempts to write my review of last night’s game and have had to abandon it after a few sentences. Trying to do this on word and cut and paste.

As I said we looked to be suffering from fatigue, which is not surprising considering the efforts at Middlesborough. There were times when we played some excellent one touch football but on too many occasions, our passing was slack and inaccurate. The tempo that we have come to expect was missing.

I thought our first penalty looked to be lucky and I felt that their penalty was harsh. I sat almost level with the tangle, and to me, and others around, it looked as if the Hull player was puling Miranda.

It is not often that Boly is muscled of the ball, but he was and it led to Bennett putting it into his own net. Although Costa was weak prior to their penalty, he is certainly coming back to the form that we saw from him last season. One jinking run took him past three players as he made a run on goal.

I watched young Oscar Burr Rasmusen play for the u23s recently and although on the light side looks a class player. He must have been surprised to find himself playing and took his goal really well.

Only two full days before the Cardiff game and it will be good to get Nevis and Docherty back in the side.

As I type this epistle Ruddy, Coady and Nevis have been named in the Championship team of the year. Congratulations to them.

Thanks for the report mate. Not a great result but not a total disaster either. No injuries and Neves and Doch back for Friday. Still a few ups and downs before the end of the season I'm sure but we'll be there.

Worrying if there seemed to be signs of fatigue, the gap between the Hull and Cardiff game is far less than the Boro/Hull game...

I think it's quick and easy to blame fitness when a game doesn't end in victory. Before the Middlesbrough and Hull games, i would have been happy with the return of four points out of six, and that's what we ended up with. The least Hull deserved last night was a point. They were difficult to break down, take both Doherty and Neves out the Wolves side and a lot of our build up play goes out the window.

Wolves don't have a like for like player for either of the above. I think the Wolves penalty award was a soft one, but i've got no complaints regarding the one awarded to Hull. I would have been disappointed that we didn't get back level after Bennett's own goal, but what an header from the youngster Oscar Burr Rasmusen. I've only seen him play once and that was in the league cup tie against Bristol Rovers. Even if he doesn't make it at Wolves, i won't forget his goal in a hurry.
