Woah!, sheesh, whats with all the nasty hype over players leaving? IT ALWAYS HAPPENS. Have more class guys, wish them well and look to us re building with new players. We are better than this. Do you think Darren will be calling him a rat for taking a taxi? NO, he will wish him well and move on.

All players who did their best for us will always get well wishes, and be welcomed back as visiting players, such as Gera, Olsson, Scharner and Big Dave himself, even though he was part of the Derby side that beat us at Wembley.
Claudio Yacob will also be remembered as a club hero.
Evans was great when he first arrived, and would probably have been wished well had he gone to City last summer.
With hindsight we should have let him go, but he was under contract and we didn't.

His attitude since then has stunk the place out, probably infected the dressing and contributed to where we are now. He was not just one of our better players, he was the club captain, the one who should lead by example.
He has shown total disrespect to the club that paid his wages, gave under par performances and topped it off with the taxi incident.
Wish him well? I don't think so.

He will be quickly erased from my thoughts like Lee Hughes was.

Living in Leicestershire, my mates have obviously asked me my opinion on Evans. I've said that the for the first two seasons he was excellent and added quality and stability to the back four. However, last season he was poor and I was much happier with Dawson and Hegazi at the back. I told them that Evans looked casual, often caught in posession, positionally poor and basically, looked disinterested. I think that this was due to his missing out on a move last summer. I did say though, that he would probably do a good job for them if he reproduces the early form that he showed when he first joined us. I told them that my biggest disappointment was the fact that we only received £3.5 million for him when Leicester offered £20 million a year ago!

Shakespeare must have been on glue when he sanctioned that bid.

Wish we'd taken those bids for evans and rondon't.

I bet the c??? Peace wishes he'd taken the 23m from Newcastle as he could have taken a last hurrah final dividend of 50m instead of 27m.
