Striker herb. But that may have turned into a season long loan. If it works out then he will sign and his wage demands met..

Are you saying there that if his loan works out he'll sign permanently at the end of it?

I like the sound of that then. Would it also be right to assume that means we've agreed a fee with ̶S̶o̶u̶t̶h̶a̶m̶p̶t̶o̶n̶ his club to sign him for at the end of it?

If so then hopefully they can't back out of it, but I doubt they'd agree to that - there's nothing to gain for them by doing so.

Maybe all this litigation nonsense is a masterstroke by our owners to hide the fact that we're rich enough to bid £5m for a striker

Its really extraordinary that against the back drop of the ownership issues, the football side appears to have been isolated sufficiently for CW to work a bit of magic. I can only conclude that despite the differences and disputes, both owners at least appreciate that now is not the time to shove it all down the toilet.

I've seen somewhere that Waghorns only got a year left at Ipswich, even in today's crazy market £5 million's too much in my view but as always in TUFTY i trust.UTCB
