It was poor and it all stemmed from the insipid centre of midfield. Brunt capped another poor display by giving away an unnecessary free kick in injury time then, along with Bardsley failed to defend said free kick. Dawson was heading fresh air at the same time as Bartley was out manoeuvred and Brunt was kicking fresh air. Pity he didn't do that for the free kick.
Aside from the goal Phillips was quieter than he has been as was Gibbs and Barnes. Playing 4-4-2 after the success of 3-5-2 didn't help. Well, I think we were playing 4-4-2!

I’m just telling you what others on here think of your one sided view of Putin. You seem to come across as very predictable and I fully expected you during the game to give Putin the plaudits. Gibbs has saved our bacon a few times tonight, playing great. I wish sam johnstone would catch the ball instead of punching, just gave away a corner. Other than that Pulis is showing what a good manager he is despite the crass chants from the away fans. Middlesborough look a good unit.
