When this blows over, I can see three at the back working for us.

Yedlin would play better as a Wing Back with people covering his ar'se better than the old 4 at the back when he goes galloping forward. Same for Dummett; not that he'd play better - it's just that our shirt wouldn't get lifted as quickly when he goes missing from LB.

Fu(k 5 4 1 just invites pressure throughout the full game and to play it at home is a joke. I wouldn't be surprised if thats why certain players were dropped today maybe for speaking out.

It is only 5-4-1 when you are pkaying a superior team (as we were today) it doubles up as 3-5-2 when you are on the front foot.

The problem with the way we played 4-5-1 today is twofold: firstly, the gap between Rondon and any of the midfield was fat too big-he was way too isolated and therefore surrendered possession too easily. Secondly, we never really turned it into 3-5-2 because we had no intention to attack.

I know it's because Rafa's having to play with the hand he's been dealt but do we have to be so negative? Our style sucked the life out of the crowd and it was soul-destroying to watch.

We have a poor squad... we cannot expect great performances every week!

No, I know, Mick...just so depressing to watch.

But it almost worked! A penalty that never was and an own goal! I know the possession stats must look horrendous but I can't remember Dubravka having too much to do. In terms of chances scored and how they scored their goals I actually feel cheated out of a point, never mind what neutrals might think about our tactics deserving to lose.

Had we gone at Chelsea today I genuinely think we would have, yet again, beaten them easily.

Unfortunately, I thought Rafa's tactics lost us the game by being too defensive from the off.
The game changed when they scored and we HAD to attack.

Sorry Rafa, but you got it so wrong today (and I'm a fan of his BTW).
