You're entitled to that thought but I disagree with it.

That depends on what you mean by taking them forward. Seriously.
Because as it stands and has stood for a while, attempts have been made but too much of all kinds of spanners went into the works from all avenues that seemed to scupper any meaningful progress.
Ashley takes some blame but there's an equal portion attributed to the many other issues, including the fans, I might add.
Collectively we are our own worst enemies throughout this club from inside and out and not to mention the enemies that aren't part of it but are certainly complicit in ensuring it does not move too far forward.

The awful football, is down to an awful manager. Get rid of him and get in a manager that can give and command respect and who will play football as we know we want it played...and bingo...he will get funds and extras (i believe) for doing what a manager should be doing.

Nobody in their right mind would give a manager who plays dire football and won't commit, money in the vein it's expected. Not a chance....I hope.

Its a receipt ya daft get. What more do you want. You put up the papers/accounts that show the club is sound financially. You ask others to prove things but you talk sh1te with no evidence to back up what you say.So come on.Show me the paperwork accounts that show we are well off under Ashley instead of page after page of boring sh1te.

No problem. I asked and you can't provide, so we'll leave it at that.

    Has a fair point Ghost.

    You demand proof etc.

So seems fair you should provide some as well.

The fact you deflect the point suggest you know you can't either.

and lets face it.. both times he invested after relegation to ensure promotion ,,, the cost was added to the "debt"

I'm demanding nothing. I'm asking for some verification of what he said.
He can feel free to provide it or not.
As for me providing anything. I can't provide any paperwork, but then again I'm not the one pushing a narrative on this....he is.

You're pushing your narrative - that it is better to have Ashley and that he has done good things for the club.

That is what you say, that is your narrative. Every person has a narrative about the situation.

Alright, demanding is to harsh a word but you are asking for proof. So for him to do the same of you is fair.

That you can't provide anything either is also fine but it means you're in the same boat as him.

Ghost on more than one occasion, many in fact. You have stated if it wasn't for Ashley we would have "done a Leeds",also we are a stable club financially under Ashley.Thats your narrative. Now prove it.You can't.

I never said any different. I've always said we all have to feed into whatever takes our minds. I choose to go with what I go with and others do their way.
Look back at any of my posts to verify this.

Any one of us can only back something up if we have the facts.
It seems the facts are generally cloaked and it comes down to interpretation or/and acceptance of whatever is cast out as bait from all angles, whether it's idle gossip or media speculation masquerading as facts or any number of ways and means that we're all subjected to on an almost daily basis.

When I start stating facts I'll provide proof.
I expect the same would be provided for anyone claiming something as fact.

However, as I said....I do not claim facts, I simply question and argue points just like everyone else.
The only difference with some people is, they believe mass opinion and speculation on certain issues at the club stands out as a proof by count of individuals in agreement, against a much smaller mass.

That's the nature of the beast.
