Believe me I share your anger and frustrations.

I agree but can't for the life of me see why he insists on playing Brunt in CM and persevering with Mears who he seems to rate! Seems odd with what's going on with Dawson and will say his body language is shocking and Jay Rod does not appear over interested.

Early days but all is not well and if they don't convince against Blackburn then many will show their displeasure! It's not the defeats ( as a hard league ) but the manner of them and then coming out with dense statements after the match.

The last two games - we could not say it was not coming with the warning signs at many games - Forest - Blues - Sheff W and the leaked goals at Norwich and Preston to name just a few!

You are spot on baggieal. The majority of fans are asking the same questions. Why is Brunt in CM, why does he play Mears, what's the matter with Dawson and I would add one more, Bartley is a disaster? These are the issues that he has to sort out.

Why are you all panicking at this early stage?

Our last season in the Championship (2009/10) at the same stage as we are at now, played 14. we were at 25 points, had scored 24 and conceded 13. We now have 24 points, have scored 32 and conceded 22. We went on to get promoted!!!! Be patient.

    I tend to agree Sweep......
West Brom in this division reminds me of football I played when back in my school days....We usually played up to ten and the ace...
Always plenty of goals.....I have enjoyed the season so far....but then I stopped taking football very seriously a long time ago....that helps...

Let me flip it around though and give you reasons to be positive.

    - We have a young manager who is making mistakes. What is important is that he learns from them.
    - His managerial record isn't bad either. Played 22, W 12, D 5, L 5. Average points per game is 1.86
    - We're 2 points off top of the league despite recent results
    - We're still the top scorers in the country
    - We're going through a period of transition, there will be hard days

Agree with the points you make about the players. But I don't want Pulis or Bruce anywhere near this club.

The philosophy and approach is the right one, the personnel aren't.

We're still capable of scoring goals and winning games, so we still have every chance in this division. And even though we fully deserved to lose last night, we still could have scored a couple more than what we did. Perhaps we missed Hegazi and Livermore more than we thought we would.

Mistakes are being made in key areas and as another poster alluded to, the front 3 need to work harder. Its easy to berate the midfield and defence but they have been outnumbered a lot of the time this season because of the way we play. The defence and midfield need to be much better in possession though. The way we are playing means our defence and holding players are always going to be under pressure.

Talks of Moore going are massively premature in my opinion. He does need to learn from his mistakes though.
Fully agree, I do not wish DM to be booted out. He is learning, we are still in the hunt, rubbish talk for him to go. How other clubs have been criticised by people on here for calling for the coaches head when they are doing well. Patience folks, patience.

My gripe is that we are never the full package. We are either defence minded, as under (I don’t want to write his name) and now scoring goals and leaking goals. Is it not to difficult to get it right.

Give the bloke a chance, see where we are in another 10 games, if not in danger, then we go another 10 and so on. Not many thought we would go straight back up any way. We are doing better than most of us thought we would do. It was a hammering, let’s see what happens this weekend!

If I had a choice out of Barry, Brunt or Bartley....Bartley would be my last choice to play there.

Hegazi, McCauley Dawson etc are not particularly quick. If you read the game ok, you can do a job at the back. He did okay at left back in the premiership and he'll be better on the ball than Bartley so don't see why not.

It will be both of them.

At some point both influences will combine (I hope) as the course of the season progresses.

I really, really want Darren Moore to succeed.

On this point and in reference to the thread in general I have no interest in speculating about a new manager.

    We already have one.........early days.

From reports we will be without both Hegazi and Gayle tomorrow. That's worrying because Dawson has been so poor this season, Bartley, the least said the better and the lad on loan from Man. City, well he's looked poor as well. Those three at the back leak goals like water through a sieve. Mears will probably play which fills nobody with confidence. The problem is, who else do you play there. Add to all this, no Gayle, and things don't look too promising.
