    Frank has intimated that there isn't much in the way of funds so incoming will be few and far between. Maybe a couple out on loan but that is the sum of my expectations for the January window.

    He would say that though wouldn’t he? Not likely to fall for the old Cox/Pickering ‘strategy’ of telling everyone how well off we are.
    Imo there’s little point in spending what we’ve spent on both signings and loans and now not trying to find the final missing pieces. Doing that is just likely to lead to us going back to square one for next season only without the loanees and with too many ageing permanents.
    I also don’t understand the Thorne situation. Heard it rumoured that any match he plays now will result in WBA receiving £12k per game from us. Sounds a lot but that only equates to around 50p from each home ticket sold. Stupid ‘deal’ in the first place but now he’s fit it sounds a reasonably cost effective way of strengthening the midfield.
