There's goals in the team as it is, if the rest of the team could do their jobs we'd be ok.

I disagree. You list two of his five strengths as "Attitude, fighting spirit, gives his all". All of them mean the same thing. The other two strengths you list are being able to score from two yards and from penalties. Very harsh, he is more than that and has scored some quality goals in his time with us and offers far more than you say. The weaknesses you list have to be compared against the average League 2 striker, and the reason they play in League 2 is because they all have weaknesses in one one form or another. If you are offering Mo Salah as his replacement then I would instantly say he should go, but for those of us who live in the real world getting rid of Jon Stead in the situation we are currently in is a rather silly topic to discuss in my opinion.

In case you failed to understand my previous post, NO I DON'T.

Answer your own question, do you think he should stay or go?

Here’s a different way to look at it: which centre forward was harder to play against yesterday, Smith or Stead? Same question against Grimsby: Thomas or Stead? In both cases, I’d say the opposition forwards were far tougher opponents, even allowing for the lack of service (and when he did have the ball, some of Stead’s play was poor yesterday).

Stead has been great for us, but if we can get a younger, fitter, faster, stronger version, we’d be crazy not to try.

The answer to the question depends on information we do not know, ie how much does he earn. If all players earnt the same, he would be the last one we should get rid of, but if it meant we could bring in another two players in positions that need strengthening, then he should go because we are not short of forwards.

You say he would be near the bottom of your list to go. If you thought so highly of the player he wouldn't be on your list.

I think we can get a better player for lesser wages.

Ps It's not my fault you were bullied at school,it wasn't me or anyone else on here you try to belittle that stole your sandwiches in the school playground.

A list contains all the squad names. Stead would be near the bottom. What part of that are you struggling with?

You also probably think that Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny are real.

The person who stole my sandwiches ended up on his back in the playground counting his teeth. I give up my grub for no-one.

Look, you are the one who started a really stupid topic, my advice would be to quit before you embarrass yourself even more.
