I didn't or don't rate Moncs as a player so I'm obviously not bothered at us selling him. The owners themselves might have insisted on a fee for him, so yes we had to sell in January while the offer was there from somebody.

No I don't know the full facts in this sale but what I do know is this

There are 23 other teams in this league but probably 6 who are a threat of some sort to our promotion prospects
Promotion means a minimum of £6 mill so sell if we must but not to one of them If no other interest then don't sell
Don't give your rival for promotion a leg up

Yes we could have just let him so called 'rot' on the subs bench for the rest of the season, and then let him go for free anywhere in the summer. But as Ive said, they the owners might have insisted on a sale and some profit etc, regardless of whether it was to a rival or not.

Ok thats it, Im not going to waste my time on here anymore trying to offer the 'other side of the argument', on us selling the likes of George Moncur.
