Leeds fans have failed to come up with a song that doesn't make me want to end it all. No, I watched Barnsley during the years of applying for re-election. Sad times.

Aye, it was sad - did they get reelected?

If the EFL had proved me correct about Lawrence, I wouldn't expect or ask for an apology from you or anyone else.
I have colour video evidence that it landed on the line Gunter, not over it. Looks like you're wrong again

Not so fast, MadAmster. The EFL hasn't yet reached a decision.

Yes, they will probably retroactively award the World Cup 1966 to the Germans, take back the knighthood from now plain Geoff Hurst and of course annull England's record in Mexico 1970 as we were not holders and had not gone through qualification properly. Still at least that means that we didnt officially lose 3-2 to the Jerries in the 1/4 final, and Bobby Moor was never in Colombia allegedly knicking watches.

Rewriting history can be so refreshing.

If we were to rewrite that 1966 WCF then there would have been no extra time and England would have still won the World Cup.

When Germany equalised, 20 seconds from time, Karl-Heinz Schnellinger was, according to the offside Law at the time, offside.

The linesman who missed that offside was the same man who gave the "dubious" Hurst goal. I have always thought that he had realised his mistake and "put it right".

I'd love to rewrite the 1970 WC QF. The flukiest goal I've ever seen. Boy, have they made us suffer since 1966.
