Would love him Bomber but you must know it’s a choice of Shan or Appleton - the cheap skate options!

3 wins from his last 23 games. Not setting the world alight is he? We would have be calling for him to go if we were Brighton fans, and now celebrating his departure.
I wouldn't want him as our boss.

Another case of “be careful what you wish for Chris”..........without a stroke of genius from their board I see them as bottom four candidates next season.

With regards to the who Pulis/defensive football debate.

My gripe with Pulis was this obsession with getting as many centre halves as possible into the side and the ban on fullbacks overlapping or anyone going out of their designated ten metre square space.

I enjoyed seeing us organised like we were under Megson so I was not against a more pragmatic approach like Pulis had.

I think being hard to beat is a plus,in that first season or two we played some good stuff at times and beat Chelsea 3-0 or 3-1 in our last home game of the season in a pulsating game.

I saw stats yesterday in the paper showing we had the oldest first eleven in the Prem last season with a starting age of over 29 years per man.......I think this had much as anything was our Achilles Heel.

A solid shape interspersed with a bit of pace and flair and a decent target man is the way to go to stay in the Prem and not bore your fans to death.

Brighton looked okay to me,are they any worse to watch than Watford or Palace?

They lacked a bit of pace and a decent striker in my opinion.

I wouldn't want him , but it's not just an experienced manager we need it's the clubs board & owner pulling as one & spending money , having some ambition, or we will be a very average team for many years probably worse than we are now .

Phew, Boingy I thought you were going recommend HRK for the job the useless c???, I hope he got fined 2 weeks wages for that back heel that got him his early holidays, p rick.

I bet Jenkins foooks up this golden opportunity of Hughton's sacking, and offers him a bag of dog s hit and a 3 wheeled skateboard (company car) on 1 year rolling pin contract with a promotion bonus of a bag of cat s hit.

Fooook young and hungry, give me experienced and proven every time who'll get the respect of the players and who will instill some discipline to stop the aforementioned b ollox.
