Well done to Robbie and the team. When i first seen Clark lined up on the left i wasn’t so sure but i thought he did well. Shankland gets the glory but i thought Appere was superb aswell. McMullan and Liam Smith never lost a 50/50 all match! Centre halfs also did everything that was asked of them. All in all a very good start, however a long way to go and if we can back it up with a good result next week then that is a proper show of intent!

Seemingly, Brewster scores 4 v Dumbarton in 1996. I doubt any united player as ever scored 4 on his league debut. What a finisher

Ray scored a hat-trick of free-kicks which was impressive...

    Willie Pettigrew hit 4...

Sure Sturrock hit 5 against either Morton or Killie in the league title season.

Think Mcswegan and/or winters hit 4 against CE Principat in 97.....can’t think of anyone doing it after 97

Is there a player anywhere who has scored 4, for and against any team? If there is, did they do it within a year?

Luggie v Morton at Tannadice? Think their keeper was called Roy Bain but probably wrong.

Great all round performance. Good pressing football. Appere and Robson were excellent and of course Shanks was outstanding.

I’d forgotten how good Saturday nights actually are 🍺😂 well done guys.

Felt as if I flew down the road tonight. This is what a Saturday night used to feel like! I know McMullan has a lot of critics on here but I like the guy. He always gives 100% and that's all I ask for. No he's not the most skillful player and he makes mistakes but he's a fighter and doesn't give up.

McMullan did give everything today but I thought he did so much more that that.
Did he not set up 3 of the goals today?
