You could be right Brin but he's another one that I wouldn't like to judge too early because I haven't seen enough of him. He seems to have a nice level of aggression and is quite mobile so it would be nice if he could get a few starts to see if he can establish himself in the team. Crooks would probably be the one to drop out based on current form.

I know I will have my knacks chewed off for saying this 4 5 1 might not be a bad idea particularly away from home. It would mean the midfielders would have to get up to support the 1 forrud tho. Something like,

    Iversen
    Olasunde, iekwe, Robertson, mattock
    Hastie, Lyndsey, Crookes, wiles, ogbene
    Smith.

Smith would be in his most comfortable position as well on this formation

I thought about 4 4 2 away from home but this might make us weaker in central midfield.

There's also 3 5 2 which would be ok for CDs but who would you have as wingbacks? The obvious ones would be olasunde and Clarke ( when fit) because they have played there mnight. The only prob is no place for ogbene or Hastie unless you put em up front with smith.

But then, to compound it all, at least away from, 4 3 3 has been a success so far so do we stick with that away. It could take a few games yet to did out which formation would be best.

Who wants to be a footy manager eh?

Glad it's not just me! It's happened a few times.
I agree that 4-5-1 might be a decent option with the players we have in the squad now although we don't know anything about Hastie yet.

While I'm here- your fault brin for drawing me back on- we could play a 4 4 1 1 and have someone like Lyndsey just behind smith or a diamond 4 1 3 1 1 with McDonald sitting
    Think that's em all

Yep good point mellow he is a bit of an unknown quantity as is ogbene. Could they play as wing backs? I'm not so sure warney suggested they were more attacking players more likely to be forwards than defenders

Looking like the Kyle Vassell injury isn’t as bad as first feared.
Club are talking about three weeks out.
