Early days I know but I find it incredible looking at the table tonight seeing some of the clubs in the top 6 .

No disrespect to them but they must have had an incredible summer recruitment wise based on what I saw last season .

I'd suggest and its only my opinion mind that some of these clubs won't last the pace Ipswich being the exception .

A decent unbeaten run of let's say 10 games would see the millers right in amongst it .

Ever the optimist Animal, where the Millers are concerned. I can't see an unbeaten run appearing.

Well I seem to remember you putting in a good unbeaten run the last time you were in league one when Kieffer was scoring for fun after a shaky start .

Looks to me other than Ipswich the league is far more equal than it was last season when Luton , ourselves , Pompey , Charlton and Sunderland were significantly better than the rest .

You have the added advantage that both Pompey and Sunderland aren't at the level they were last season .

Keeping there or there abouts and some smart January additions and it could very well be on in my opinion .

Oxford were my dark horses for promotion and they proved it today. They have quite a few injured and suspended too.
After a slow start they gave us a football lesson. Quicker in thought, movement and passing all over the pitch coupled with a decent amount of skill led to them running out easy winners. They could easily have had five goals today breaking in numbers and speed even when they were only one goal in front.

We never really troubled them. Far too slow in movement , ball control and passing which we,ve seen all season which allowed them to regroup in numbers.
Oggy had three players round him at all times and got nowhere. At least he showed some urgency though unlike the rest.

Need to up the tempo considerably

Listened to it on Deedar, the commentator was bemused by some of the decisions (or lack of) the officials made. Obv not seeing the game, I can't really have an opinion on the general team performance, it did sound like we were 2nd best most of the time.
I won't be watching Quest highlights either, I'll throw sumat at 'telly if they show that James Corden lookalike Oxford boss with that smug grin on his fat face 😠😠

Ok, i haven't looked at any post before I have posted, so this is my take on it. First half I thought from the off we were in control but not really showing much and actually fell behind to the sucker punch.
2nd half saw us taking the game to them but not showing much and then getting punished. I don't go to every game ,but for me Oxford are the best team we have played this season but we did play OK in my eyes and it just wasn't good enough
We can and we need to play better....UTM

Yes there were some bizarre refereeing decisions

As for the Oxford boss looking smug well he’s every right to be. He picked the best side, had the best tactics and he had players that carried them out for him.

    The ref Hazza......

They committed a lot of niggly fouls the majority of which were missed by the officials. Ive never seen a team push so many of our players in the back. To be fair to Oxford if they can get away with it then why not continue for the whole match.
Ref also only gave 3 mins OT which should have been 6/7 at least.
I dont think it would have made any difference though as it was Oxford who looked likely to score again.
The ref wasnt the reason we lost though. They were much better than us
