it was an amazing day though - we have to understand the definition of success is dictated by ambition. Mine was europe, league, cup wins and general brilliance. The Dees were never focused on their achievements but as the famous scotsman journalist said "its better than a cup win". How he would know i have no idea but its so ****ing pleasing and deeluded.

1000 Arabs at the 'Doon' Derby? Honestly, they should get a grip - I was there that night and I can assure all Funsters that there were about double that. We got just over 4,000 a few weeks ago so about half that number of Arabs that night would be about right. However, if we'd organised one of these BOGOF deals we'd have sold out easily. Further, sorry to disappoint but that night comes nowhere near the level of disappointment of St Mirren in the Cup Final in 87. Not even remotely. Infact, I'm glad I was there to a. Support my team when at a particularly low ebb and b. to see the nick the frothing Funsters got into on 'The Biggest Night In The Club's History'. Jeezo, what a minter.

Then compare it to the identical Bobby Cox stand anytime you see them on TV which looks sparse in comparison

Great effort by the Arabs tae sell-out that quick. Mind you, I can't recall seeing it advertised that they were even on sale! Me and the lad have season tickets so no loss to me but I've had a couple of Arabs saying they didn't know either and missed out as a result.

I'll be disappointed if we dont keep the Jerry Kerr.
Wouldn't worry about "tit for tat", that lot barley sold out there own allocation for dens and that's when they were gonna close the gap (lol)

Agree JM, was there also that night and although it was upsetting to be relegated at the dump, we knew we were going down anyway if not that night then probably the next game. St Mirren , Celtic in 88 , Motherwell and Rangers 08 were far more upsetting.
Did they get presented a trophy ? at the end of there greatest moment of in there history of the last 50 years or so.

Fair way is to let them sell the fair play and if it looks like they will and sell well then ok, if sales slow then begin selling the first sections of the Jerry Kerr nearest the East to arabs

They have only shifted 500 odd for Arbroath for Saturday so that says it all about their backing right now
