What would you say if I stereotyped people with similar learning difficulties as you? Maybe this guy had similar learning difficulties as you

Get away with what Roly? Implying people have learning difficulties because they use the wrong words or aren't as capable as some of providing water tight evidence for something that without doubt does happen (e.g. taking money for food and not spending it on food). Silly had already said he had no evidence that others had given money so why ask for it?

Tbf there are better ways of donating to the homeless than giving it to people begging on the streets. Some really good charities out there who do loads for the genuine homeless.

Obviously on the streets there will be lots of druggies/alcoholics begging who may not be homeless but come on, it's not like they have great lives is it and none of us would swap places with them.

Now professional beggars are a totally different ball game. No need to beg but do so rather than get a job, pay taxes etc and will be claiming benefits too. That said doubt there's that many of them tbh, certainly in Rotherham.

What I do know is homelessness is a really serious issue all over the country and it's getting worse, much worse.

A very sad state of affairs!!!!

I’m not sure what Roly is getting upset about tbh but there is a complain button isn’t there?
Silly didn’t mention when this happened so could be one of the closed pubs or could also mean up road which is directions to a few pubs

I interviewed someone for a job he turned up looking scruffy and not very clean.
I had a quick chat with him thinking this is going nowhere.
Turns out he was sleeping in Clifton park he had no family and was just in a mess.
Spoke to my boss and we agreed that we would take him on and source him a bedsit and deduct the money from his wages.
He is now thriving and does a very good job.

Sometimes people just need a break.
