Sorry, did I say smiling wink? shooda said big laughing winking pus, that should have been a wee clue.

And my comment about Smith was a direct reply to your comment to me saying that Watson has never played left back.As far as I know, before Robbie played Smith there he hadn't been played there before either, certainly not for us, didn't stop him trying him there though.

Are light hearted comments and jokes the same thing? Apologies for any misunderstanding, next time I'll add "boom boom" at the end.... (just to keep things clear obviously)

No need to be pedantic, your original post was not clearly lighthearted. No need to spell anything out for me, I'm not a moron. Just because something appears clear to the writer doesn't necessarily make it so to the reader. Thing about jokes, it's all in the delivery 👍

Scotsman, Englishman and Irishman go in to a bar with a Welshman handcuffed in a wheelbarrow dressed as coco the clown. Scotsman says " with Robson being injured do you think Robbie will play Smith at left back and Watson at right back? Englishman replies "and if Connelly still has a niggle will he move Butcher (if available) to centre back?

Barman pipes up " Hold it there guys, is this meant to be some kind of a joke???

It's all in the interpretation I'm afraid !!!

Think Sporle at Left back/wingback much more likely this time around. I think part of the issue last time was his lack of English and still settling in to Scottish game. Apparently his English is now better and he has had a bit more game/training time.

It's an absolute no brainer and if Neilson does anything other than play Sporle at left back he's a complete fanny who has learned **** all from his previous mistakes.
