It should go without saying that nobody who supports BFC would want any incoming player to fail, however the Bull Sh.t that comes from the club when we sign someone is second to none!
They must think we are stupid and are too poor to be able to check the history of players on Google?

"Ludewig arrives from Red Bull Salzburg, who currently sit top of the Austrian Bundesliga table, without a loss this season in their 18 matches played"

He has had nothing to do with them sitting top of the league unbeaten because he has NEVER played a game for them!

I'm sure that the article they put on the main site is the same for every player and they just change the name and nationality? "Top Target" "Wanted by other clubs higher in the pyramid" "Strong, can pick a pass, good in the air" with all these brilliant players we should have won the Champions league by now?

For me this is another of the "fingers crossed" that he's any good signings and if we stay up he will sign permanently and then leave for bigger money a little further down the line......same old story! I hope the lad does well? but for me he's a little more intelligent than the others this lot signed because he hasn't committed himself to us permanently.

    Top post perky
It's an insult to our intelligence expecting us to swallow all the bullsh1t they come out with although judging by the comments by some on here perhaps they're not so far out

    Welcome Ponte Bram.

Red Bull Salzburg are the Chelsea of a year or two back taking in a shed load of youngsters and then loaning them out to other clubs because they haven't got enough room to give them all enough game time. RB Salzburg ev tekken this a stage further and run a development "reserve" team in the Austrian second tier called FC Liefering where Struber used to coach before moving to Wolfsberger AC, moving here a few months later.
I regard the new lad as equivalent to a Chelsea development youngster coming here on loan. There is a tendency to regard players from abroad as better than those in this country. Spud still can't resist over hyping incoming players as in this case when he infers that he has been part of the RB Salzburg side that tops the league when the truth is he has not.
Good luck to the lad but I expect to see the same impact as I would if a 19 yr old Chelsea loanee came in. I would call that being realistic rather than negative.

Well lets hope not SB, the last 2 Chelsea youngsters I can remember coming here on loan were Kiwomya and Ugbo.........

There is one end at Oakwell called the Ponte End Acido. It may be where they sit.
