We don’t have many special moments as Notts fans to savour and enjoy and you just never know when they may happen.

Who would have thought such a goal would be scored today? Having watched it again a few more times Micheal Doyle should take a bow and surely has now written himself into Notts folklore. 38 years old playing game after game. A legend.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve been that happy leaving the ground.

If this goal was scored in the premier league by a player it would be all over Sky and Match of the Day and they would make an instant name of themselves, much like David Beckham did against Wimbledon in 1996. Guess who was on the bench for Wimbledon that day?
    Our manager?

Correct it was Neal Ardley. He made an appearance and came on in the 86th minute to replace Marcus Gayle.

Having seen it live and now seeing it again, it's still difficult to believe it really happened!

Brilliant. Nice checked long pass from Crawford for the first goal too.
