I could not agree more. When supporters like yourself who have been going half a century to the lane say that it just shows how special a goal it was.
That goal is a symbol of the club making a statement that we might be down in the National League but we are far from out.
We don’t have many special moments as Notts fans to savour and enjoy and you just never know when they may happen.
Who would have thought such a goal would be scored today? Having watched it again a few more times Micheal Doyle should take a bow and surely has now written himself into Notts folklore. 38 years old playing game after game. A legend.

If this goal was scored in the premier league by a player it would be all over Sky and Match of the Day and they would make an instant name of themselves, much like David Beckham did against Wimbledon in 1996. Guess who was on the bench for Wimbledon that day?
