    Ardley and others have said. If I remember correctly, it was a toss up between Schofield and Alex Palmer but Palmer was more expensive

    Nope, Ardley mentioned no one wanted to come to a team battling relegation and when we had Alex Palmer on emergency loan, I think it was Crossely who said he was an option as well as Schofield

    It's obvious that Fitzsimons doesn't feature in our manager's future plans, so it's best that we can get him at least partly off the wage bill. It's a bit of a gamble not having a keeper on the bench, but it's one that's paid off so far.

    And Barclay, CMS, Gomis and Stubbs on loan in addition to Schofield

    With the injury clause it's a great move for the club and maybe the player.

    Slocombe has been one of if not our best player during this good run

    We've still got Jake Kean as well in the event of an emergency.
