Schofield was the best we could attract with the budget we had. He started out really well, he was confident and claimed crosses. Nope, Ardley mentioned no one wanted to come to a team battling relegation and when we had Alex Palmer on emergency loan, I think it was Crossely who said he was an option as well as Schofield

It's obvious that Fitzsimons doesn't feature in our manager's future plans, so it's best that we can get him at least partly off the wage bill. It's a bit of a gamble not having a keeper on the bench, but it's one that's paid off so far.
