We will go up because we have a lucky manager, a crazy substitution that ended up winning the game. I think we did well in the conditions sods law the wind dropped in the second half.
Defensively we seem to be poor in windy conditions, Wood just can't judge it when it's windy. We were always going to make the possession pay but we need to make more of our chances, apart from Freddie we are shy of shooting,
Iversen. Apart from the time in first half when he should have come out and collected, he did nothing wrong.
Olosunde. MOM for me looked more solid in defence than he has been before and tremendous when going forward.
Mattock. I wanted him back in but he wasn't great,
Ihiekwe. Not his usual imperious self but did what he had to do.
Wood. Poor game, couldn't judge the ball and looked under pressure. Let's hope all the gales have gone he can't handle them.
Crooks. Played well and won some good ball, unlucky with the shot at the end.
Barlaser. Played some nice balls, did get caught a couple of times but still a different player to earlier in the season.
Ogbene. Good game again and caused loads of problems especially towards the end.
Adelakun. Poor game didn't look interested, played poor last week and shouldn't have started.
    Smith. Did what Smith does.
Vassell. Poor game today, gave the ball away too often.
    Subs:-
Lapado. Now needs to start keeps on scoring.
Wiles. I know he scored the winner, but really can anyone tell me why Warne brought him on.
Karome. Looks good. Should have started instead of Adelekun.
Happy with win, we deserved it, come on lads another win on Tuesday and the title is ours.
Thanks for good post as usual Jake. I can only imagine that he wanted Vass and Fred as goal point with Wiles on left and less punting forward in last minutes?

Oggy had his worse game first half, improved second half needs that extra 5%

    Fantastic substitution by Warne that.
It’s all about winning and that’s what we’ve done.
Brilliant away support as usual well apart from usual dickheads.
I posted a while ago we won’t lose again all season and we won’t.

Wiles scores the winning goal after coming on, but apparently the manager is lucky !
Another great win in difficult circumstances, well done lads.

Makes a change from the opposition fans.

"I think Rotherham,s defending deserves a mention very organized and the strength in their side not great to watch but effective not the best side I have seen this season but for teamwork they were they all know their jobs and they played for 98 minutes good luck to them at least they weren't dirty barstewards".

ATT | This afternoon's attendance in Accrington is 3,447 with 1,577 travelling Millers packed in the away end.

    Incredible support as always👏

Ihiekwe MOM but challenged closely by Olasundae. Had an absolute stormer in the second half coupling up with Oggy. They ran their defenders ragged and got behind them so many times.

The thing I really liked about today was that we pressed and pressed for the win right to the 98th minute. They had settled for a draw around 75 mins but not us.

Keep the same team Tuesday with Freddie still on the bench. There,s a reason PW does this and he,s told us why and he's told Freddie why even though he's not happy about it.
Vass beats up the opposition defenders, tires them out and then Freddie is let off the leash when they are fatigued and are losing concentration. It workes most games so if we want success then don't change things

Just back from the game and getting warmed up. Thought we deserved the win overall. Very windy conditions first half. We were kicking against the wind at the start, but it eased off after half time. Just our luck!
Thought Obgbene troubled Accrington for all the game, but they dug in well and seemed set on getting a point, but that was all. Great goal-hanging from Freddie - just what we needed, but then some sloppy defending from us when we were slow to clear a bouncing ball. Thought that Wiles had mis-headed the ball at the end, and was surprised that it slithered past their keeper and into the net. (Maybe he deliberately headed it downwards?).
Had a pre-match pint at Peel Park - by Accrington Stanley's original ground. Nice pub.
None of the Millers players had a bad game really, in quite difficult conditions, and full marks for keeping the pressure on right to the end. Substitutions were a bit puzzling... but we won!

Really well done to the whole squad and the travelling supporters.
It was a tough game but we came through it.

    Can’t wait for Tuesday
