I went against her advice before, 2 days after my ist mini stroke and went to the Albion v Wolves derby shouldn't have gone put my recovery back weeks.
But with this virus, i am also putting her a risk.
The majority of people who come into contact with coronavirus will experience mild to moderate illness for a couple of weeks. However, given your age and underlying health conditions you are not part of that majority Lloyd. If you have any doubts the choice is quite simple. Stay at home, take all necessary precautions and look forward to next season mate.

My daughter and grand children are due to come back to the Uk for wife wife’s birthday in June but she has been told today that all flights on Singapore airlines from Perth are cancelled until at least the end of June.

She is waiting to see what options she has but the decision to travel with Singapore airlines at least has been taken out of her hands. Luckily she took out insurance last year when she booked the flights so hopefully one way or another she will get her money back.

Boris grow a pair and listen to your mate in the US. Stop all flights into the UK from the EU countries, China and Iran at least. That would make a huge difference to the spread and impact in the U.K. and probably give you him a big saving on his Coronavirus budget fund.
Latest advice I heard contradicts this. It's too late to stop this all we can do is slow it down. I quote 'If 90% of flights into the UK were cancelled now then we would delay the peak by 1 or 2 weeks. If we cancelled 99% of flights the delay would be 1 to 2 months.'

It's not IF it comes it's just a question of WHEN!

Other comment I heard was a health expert commenting on the number of confirmed cases. He reckoned it was definitely understated and the true figure was 10/20/50 times bigger as many had it and didn't know it.

Thanks for all your advice, not going on Saturday.
Close to home, yesterday a Ambulance came to the nurse over the rd from us. She works at Russel hall, the pararamedics didn't go in the house and was wearing hazordus suits. The husband came back later and today both are off work. My next door neighbour told us this.

    A wise choice Lloyd.

In truth you should be staying away for the rest of the season.

Reluctantly, I have decided to give the match a miss. Many may think that I’m overreacting but in my situation, I’m erring on the side of safety. Very likely that the next time I set foot inside the Hawthorns will be next season; most importantly, I just want to be here to be able to set foot inside the Hawthorns again! Maybe I’m being a wuss.........

Nothing personal Mike but I'm absolutely delighted that I won't be clapping eyes on you at the weekend. Making a choice that you're comfortable with doesn't make you a wuss. It means that despite personal preferences you've made a choice that you're comfortable with. Nothing more, nothing less. Take care pal.

No one should be criticising anyone for these individual decisions.

Last the blokes went to the local for our usual Thursday night out except one who stayed away as his wife has a long standing respiratory problem. The wives all went with 500 others to the theatre except for the one with the problem. Makes sense to me. The first 20 mins was all about coronavirus so we decided to ban it from the conversation. Lasted for about 5 mins before the subject came up again. Can't escape it!

Atm we will carry on as normal, couples up the pub tonight, Park Run with a few hundred others tomorrow, my coaching with the kids is still on and so is my village football match then our Saturday evening meal out. Sunday night Quiz Night.
