Delurking too I m a big Jam fan and never really got into Paul Weller s solo stuff but he has a live album out now "other aspects " which is acoustic but with an orchestra doing recent stuff but also some classic Jam tracks

It's funny, a lot of my mates liked the Jam but because I was into the Sex Pistols and SLF (way too young to be an original punk but the first time I heard Anarchy in the Uk something just shifted inside me even though the pistols had split up years earlier) so the Jam were a 'no go'-my more roundedmusical self now suspects I missed out.
The Style Council make me want to rip my own eyes out but I've heard some of his solo stuff and some of it is canny. Might check it out.
