The flu jab is an interesting one. I’ve had it for a number of years, essentially with no adverse reaction. “She who must be obeyed” who worked for the NHS (Ward Sister on orthopaedic/trauma ward) declined the flu jab. Preferred to avoid the annual (and differing) virus injection. Luckily over the years (we are both the wrong side of 70) have survived.

Everyone of us is different. Some people are blessed with good health, others are unfortunate not to be. I have been blessed with good health all of my life, never had any childhood illness, never broken any bones, never spent time in an hospital apart from visiting.
I have never felt the need to go running around the streets.
I have drank since i was 15 and smoked moderately off and on.
My heart is obviously better, so far, than others.
But it's only good for so many beats, our bodies aren't meant to last. Some wear out before others, it's just luck and not worth worrying about.

A bloke goes to the doctors and says how can I live to be 100.
Doc says don't smoke, drink or chase loose women.
Will i live to be 100 if i do these things Doc,?
Doc says, no, but it will seem like it.

A bloke of 100 is marrying an 18 year old stripper so he visits his doctor for advice.

The doc says to the bloke......

“You need to be careful because rampant s e x and swinging from the lampshades could result in death”

    Old bloke replied.....

    “F u c k it......if she dies she dies”
