Wycombe have a game in hand so if you went by ppg to get their final points total they would finish this season in 3rd. But they have played 2 more home games than away games. Their home ppg this season is over 1.3 more than their away ppg so Oxford would have a very good case to claim against that decision.
Utm
I still think we would have took title
I see the charming Peterborough chairman is shooting his mouth off on Twitter and has said if the final positions are decided on a ppg basis we should "prepare for a legal battle of epic proportions" and not just from his club apparently.
It's interesting that League 1 clubs are pleading poverty despite apparently having oodles of dosh readily available to launch expensive legal proceedings.
Unfortunately the pboro claims have no grounds for success
If any of the credible scenario,s are used to decide promotion then pboro aren't ever in the top three.
He claims that they have the best goal difference. Ahem.
His club got spanked 4-0 at our place and were lucky not to loose by a lot more. They had a huge slice of luck beating us at their place after the stonewall penalty in the last minute wasn't given.
Pboro always fade away.
It's not safe to conclude the season .
If he's going to mount a legal challenge it can only be out of spite because his club haven't done enough to get promoted to date.
I can't see a legal hearing being sympathetic towards his claims that they would have done very well in the remaining fixtures as that's just wishful thinking and guesswork
If a club is going to go legal then at least have some credibility
Yes I'm biased

That's exactly what I think Flour.
The Peterborough chairman has a reputation for shooting his mouth off but this time his claims are even more ludicrous than normal in that they are based on what may or may not have happened if the season had continued.
I don't think a legal challenge based on his fantasies would have a hope in hell of succeeding but if he's arrogant enough and wealthy enough to give it a go then he probably will.
