I guess compared to wars, people losing their jobs and people dying it is nothing.

My problem is at no point was anyone ever told “It was ok to drive 200 miles for someone to look after their kids” what I remember being told was “Stay at home save lives protect the NHS”. If Joe Bloggs did it then we were told you would be fined and what is worse this is coming from a man in a privileged position.

Now he wasn’t protecting lives he drove over 200 miles and more than likely had to go for a toilet break meaning touching surfaces which could have spread the virus as he thought at the time he had it.

Basically the govt are now back tracking and making up new rules to defend him so expect the public and media to carry on attacking him.

It's all about which side of the fence you sit mate. I think he should be sacked but the left will tell you that a Labour MP, Naz Shah who retweeted a tweet that young girls who'd been subjected to the most horrific abuse any of us can think of should"shut their mouths in the interest of diversity, Shouldn't" She was promoted to the shadow cabinet by Corbyn.

I wouldn’t let either Shah or Cummings anywhere near government.

Looks like he's going to have justify driving up there for a 2nd time, after he'd returned to work.

Agreed. What I like about you Lardy is you say what you believe, you never feel the need to get on a soapbox. Well, maybe sometimes you do.

Looks like he made a second visit up to Durham so going to be fun hearing his next excuse.

He will be gone by next week as the media will not let up.

Getting back to that Lardy and putting that into perspective. Dom isn't an MP and rightly or wrongly visited his family, Shah is and told young girls who'd been abused and raped to "shut their mouths" Can you imagine anyone else but a Muslim MP keeping their job?

It’s almost like organising a duplicitous campaign to win a referendum doesn’t make you qualified to run a country during a national crisis.

At least he is not one of the many idiots who have invaded our coastal towns, causing god knows how many more infections...
