Having seen Cardiff v Leeds, comparatively our game was much more pedestrian, although Blues sat deep, then again we knew they would. It took two goals of sheer quality from Austin to win at theirs otherwise there’s not much in it. Prior to lockdown Krov had really made a big impact and was becoming a prominent player so why was he on the bench, same with Grady, has he not had time to recover and get fit also?
Full backs won’t push on enough for me, Furlong actually put one of the best crosses of the game over when he did finally bomb on.
It appears the players don’t rate him though as they barely feed him, although he doesn’t make the runs either, (managers instructions?)

Jury’s out on Robinson, I started asking questions pre lockdown.

Yes, first game back but needs to be better as others don’t see this League as being over. Somebody is going to charge for the line after this long break, unless we start finding the net it will be half a crown sixpence time.

Not The type of the Baggies supporters that endeared me to be a fan of this still great club.

I may be in the minority here and that will make me unpopular. Those than lambast the club when they are top of their league are, well simply shameless.

Come on FFS! Yesterday was garbage and the majority of the supporters know it. Grady and Krov should have started as they are brilliant but can you honestly say the same about Phillips who has been consistently poor. HRK too whilst he gives 100% he's never going to give any magic of Odemwingie, or look likely to score a goal! Gayle looked like scoring every time he had the ball last year - that's the point!

Yes we are top of the league but two points lost yesterday! Don't mind drawing but it was the poor passing, no intensity, and the final ball. Not that we have not played for three months as other teams had that intensity and sharpness so yesterday was garbage. I praise great performances of which that's been the majority of games, but still stand by the comments of yesterday - it was garbage and two points lost.

Robinson, HRK, Philips, Edwards struggle in the championship albeit HRK has worked hard, so they are not Premier players in a million years if we go up.

I love Bilic but there have been a number of games where he's got the wrong starting line up besides yesterday! Did you go to Wigan on the night game? I did and this was garbage too as the majority pointed out and again it was not our best starting line up.

So much over reaction AGAIN over one match. Comments about Leeds intensity check the stats we actually had higher stats in key areas. Passes, higher, opportunities, higher, shots, higher, I really don't understand the mass panic, go out and topple some statues if you want, I'm off for a round of toast and happy to see us top of the league after game one.

The manager said pre match he felt Diagana wasn't ready to start a game but would be coming on to get valuable minutes. I was surprised he didn't play Krov and I suspect he will play next game. It's a tough league but we would all have been very happy to be in this position given the chance before the season started.

Funny, no I did not go to the Wigan game. Long way to go for some, not so far for others.

Three months, no games. Some people really need to get real. I am not a big I am, love Albion from a distance. You spent money travelling and following them, I spent it where I want to and that is my wish. However, support is support, and what I fail to give on the terraces is made up more by accepting we are what we are, and not slagging off players, manager, chairman and owners, as some so called hard core fans do.

You pay to watch, I don’t. It would cost me a lot more to get to games than the few hundred quid it does some, I can still express my views as much as anyone else. Happy to be top in the most competitive league in the U.K.

If we fail we fail. You cannot do better than being top and that is where we are at this time. Knock if you wish, easier than actually managing and playing I guess.

I agree with all your comments. Most still felt Saturday was garbage and whilst it was three months out, other teams played with intensity and sharpness. I am sure, we will be our usual selves flying out of the blocks on Friday and I would be the first one to praise. That's football!

Krov and Grady do need to start though and almost everyone would agree on that. Phillips has been poor for most of the season and his better days are past. A fit Gayle is better than HRK, Austin and Robinson rolled into one!

Does not matter you don't go and of course you can express your views but most would view Saturday as two points lost and poor. If we get promoted we need a decent striker - that's a fact as in most games we will have a couple of chances and - bang one needs to be in the net! That will be the difference between success and failure.

There was a lad at our place who always gave 100% but was useless. No sentiment as he had to go!

Supporters don't gave to go to games to be classified as fans. I've been a Baggies supporter since the mid 50's yet I don't get to many games because of my location. In fact, it would be quicker for me to go and watch Paris St Germain than go to the Hawthorns. We have opinions as well and this is why this forum is excellent as it allows people to voice their opinions. We don't have to agree with each other, in fact it would be quite boring if we did!

I’m of the belief that a “supporter” is someone who attends matches and someone who watches from the comfort of their TV is a “fan”.

I class myself as the latter these days due to only going twice last season and six times this season.

Shouting at your TV isn’t going to help your team win a game.

but only what we have been witnessing all season against lower in the table teams. I think we have taken just 4 points from 7 games at home against teams in the bottom 9
