That's right SB and I failed to mention that in my reply to Bill .

Not without contention but none the less if the accounting was done to the EFL's satisfaction then they were always in a better position than Wednesday .

Who were as guilty as a puppy stood next to a pile of shyte on the living room carpet .

And still the family cat named Charlton copped the rolled up newspaper round his lug oils .

I get a faint sense that you thought Derby were guilty of cheating but I may have misread your meaning if not

    what changed your mind bill?

Couldn't be being wise after the event could it?
I thought Derby were guilty the EFL didn't.Going round in circles here I've got to get back to my painting.

A know it's no laughing matter but that 'guilty as a puppy stood next to a pile of shyte on the living room carpet' proper got me.

Some very good points raised in this thread. When the whole business of suing the EFL came to the fore during lockdarn I said that Conway wouldn't have even proceeded with it if we would've been safe and in a mid table position rather than propping the division up and looking all but relegated. I stand by what I said and for what it's worth I agree with what you've said about the moral principle of the matter. It should be persued for the greater good of football at the end of the day because number one, it's the right thing to do and number 2, based on our model it would surely suit us and other like minded clubs in the long run
