I do not like the Irish Government because then are being as awkward as possible as the UK Government is trying to get a free trade deal with the EU.
The UK is the Republic of Ireland’s bigger market yet they are happy to stab us in the back.
In my opinion the people throughout the UK should stop purchasing goods produced in the Republic of Ireland which are currently on sale throughout the U.K.
In a relatively short period of time the beef and dairy industry in the Republic of Ireland would be brought to its knees
We should be backing Britain where possible and only purchasing imported goods where there is no equivalent produced in the U.K.

We 'should' be backing local produce and not 'British' or even 'Scottish' or 'Scotch' as they like to label it. But that's financially restrictive for most of us unfortunately.

Agree, Deeranged. We need to look out for each other. What I don't understand is how Amazon can deliver stuff so cheaply and quickly.

At the beginning of August 2020 we purchased in the Co-op in Bowmore strawberries grown in Perthshire, Scotland.
When we got home some of the strawberries were already going mushy.
There is no point complaining to the manager of the Bowmore Co-op store as for at least the past 15 years the Co-operative Group have been selling 3rd class fruit at 1st class prices.
Since the beginning of August we have had to stop purchasing Co-op strawberries
Co-op ‘ripen at home’ plums and conference pears.
The pears were rock hard and despite keeping them for a week they never softened.
Yesterday I had to throw out five ‘ripen at home’ Co-op plums which we had purchased three weeks before and they were still hard.
Originally there were 6 plums and prior to throwing them out I tried to eat one of the plums which was hard with the flesh part tasting sour.
People have said for years that the Co-op in Manchester gets all the crappy fruit that the other supermarkets do not want.

I like all Dees - except the English, Welsh and European ones. Irish Dees are OK as long as they're not closet bigots.

Funnily enough, I don't like all dees in fact there's a growing amount I dislike but I still dislike far fewer dees than dabs, there's very few of them I'll tolerate.

From the small scale like the father and daughter who sit near me who put far far far too much sauce on their pies to the larger dislike I have for the booooooo boys, the clappers of subs and the hose accepters.

I'm gonna level with you here RRoS and say that for me anyone that who puts sauce, especially tomato sauce, on their pie should do so in the full understanding that should they return to their seat with it there's a possibility someone might just turn around and try to shove it down their throats whole when taking the first bite. It has to be the most awful stink of any food stuff ever consumed at any football match.

Hate the stuff as well but it's their choice but the amount of the stuff you can't see the top of the pie.
