Thread: Tilt linked with return to Blackpool!

  1. #21
Tilt was definitely injured when we signed him lads. RUFC were well miffed with the medical team contracted to undertake it. It was pretty much because of this that we changed the services of the team who undertake medicals. Player medicals have gone from lasting about 1 hour pre Tilt to now virtually a full day. At least 2 players (possibly 3) this summer were due to sign but for failing a medical. They possibly/probably would have passed their medicals under the old system.

We do tend to have either long term injuries or fragile players for long periods.

Yes Tilt was injured when he signed for us but that doesn't mean he's a crap player after playing just the one game. Let him get match fit, play a few games and then judge him. He needs to go out on loan, I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Sunderland or Wigan come in for him, a loan deal while January would be good for all concerned.

    That seems plausible.
Dom Samuel signed for Gills and Greg Leigh signed for Aberdeen.
Maybe their medical regimes aren't as robust as ours now are.
Potentially expensive mistakes and I bet Tone was livid when he found out about Tilt.

Grant Ward is ****e, Jerry yates couldn't hit a barn door. Jordan gabriel poor at defending, Madine lazy ****, Robson offers little

All in all just ****e. League 2 players will not do well in league 1. Simple as that.

Think we did a good of bit of business with yates. And Ward is still probably half knacked so did well to leave alone.

Well with 5 centre halves in front of him,Tilt will surely be off. There has never been a more important time for players to be playing......one season out of sight and it could be 'career over' for many with the full financial implications of COVID still to come. Regarding Jerry Yates....you can't help but feel he had found his natural home at Swindon!

If his injury,as suggested, is the same problem Andy Murray has encountered then nobody will be risking him.
