So what's happening with Hirst as he was meant to be our quality up front but isn't even getting on the pitch now

    Unfit ?
    Attitude ?
    Not very good ?
    Needs more coaching ?

    Good point......
Guilty of giving it away/short pass far too much.
Saved some energy for the 2nd half instead of burning out in the 1st.
How many times did they come down our left and get crosses in, law of averages says 1 goes in. Could have been worse.
Never looked like scoring, other than the pen.
Freddie not cut out for 1 up top.
    Onwards to Reading.............UTM

We were 3 players down today in effect. 1 a first choice left back 2 a first choice centre back and 3 a first choice right winger so we didnt do too bad. When we get Mattock fully fit again, Macdonald back from suspension and flo jo up to speed we will be good to go.

It was important today we hung on that will prove to the players it can be done and should help confidence. Ok so I lost a few more hairs on my head, a few more turned white but its a price Im willing to pay.

And we still have the potential wild card to play ie a non contract signing. Make sure you get the right one Warney. For me it has to be either a CB, a left back or a forrud. Pity we cant have all 3.

Is PW back Saturday or will he still be in the potting shed with his home brew.

If so then here's to our second away win of the season at Reading

Unbeaten away and maybe Warney has got it Sussed on the road

That last half hour was heart stopping at times, but at least we held on for a hard earned point. Blackman was mom for me but both woody and icky weren't far behind. We still switch off at throw ins all over the pitch and forest realised this and constantly took them quickly and dont get me started on the ref who had homer written all over him all through that game, even allowing for the fact he gave us a pen, anyway another point on the board against a team who will be bang there this season.

The penny has now droped with this team and after tonight it is onwards and upwards. Can see us going on a winning run in next few games.

Our season starts here and now. Up the Millers!

As usual I've seen nothing of the game but sometimes reading on here you would think we had a team of 18 clowns playing for RUFC and not a team who on Saturday lost in the 96th minute to a penalty to a recent Premiership team and tonight have taken a point away at a team that only missed out on last years playoffs in the last 10 minutes of the last game.

    Just saying

It will be a roller coaster this season but we are in the games and not getting steam rollered every game like before
So much quality they lost all games but one before they played us

That being said I thought a point was a fair result they hammered our defence for twenty mins but the main thing that we can take from this is the silly mistakes have gone

Generally speaking our improvement graph is still going up. Unlike previous visits to the Championship we aren’t the whipping boys anymore

Whether we’ve improved enough to stay there only time ( and injuries) will tell.

We are averaging a point a game which if maintained would probably keep us up, also so far we aren’t accumulating a big negative number in goal difference.

Not fabulous but improving never the less
