Actually Alf, I can remember, a long time ago, the last time I headed a wet casey, there was a blinding flash of light and I could suddenly see clearly what a set of useless, lying, hypocritical set of w*nk to$$ers our politicians were, especially those of the Lefty variety. I've never been the same man since.![]()

Actually sinkov, I can remember, a long time ago on Bash rec, the last time I headed a wet casey, there was a blinding flash of light and I could suddenly see clearly what a set of useless, lying, hypocritical set of w*nk to$$ers our politicians were, especially those of the Right Wing variety. Thankfully, I've never been able to vote Tory since that magical moment...Is it any bloody wonder?

New study shows heading a hard or soft ball 20 times in a short period of time is enough to cause people to fail head injury tests which would stop them being able to play
Hard and soft balls had similar effects 10 of the participants headed balls with a PSI of around 8, while the other 10 headed balls with a PSI of around 16 – pressures at either end of FA guidelines,'
They found working memory, which allows the brain to briefly hold new information while it's needed in the short term, declined by 20 per cent.
The vast majority of participants who headed the ball (80 per cent) also showed potential signs of concussion – temporary injury to the brain.
Usually after a knock, if the time needed for an athlete to complete the King-Devick test increases by three seconds from their normal values, it’s considered a possible concussion and they are removed from competition.
The increased test times for both the soft ball group (4.32 seconds) and hard ball group (4.57 seconds) were 'so extreme that it would raise suspicion of a concussion in the case of a head injury', the research team say.

Thanks for that OC, the information explains a lot of the rubbish that gets posted on here.
Talk about, "Head the ball!"![]()
Gordon Taylor gets grossly overpaid as Chairman of the PFA and, although this has been raised numerous times, the PFA have been reluctant to do very much about it.
