    Not so fast!

    No Burnley takeover is expected this week as talks continue between the club and American firm ALK Capital.

    Reports in the national press over the weekend suggested a deal was imminent but that is not the case with details to be ironed out on both sides and Premier League approval not yet sought.

    Could it be that our recruitment team have been redeployed to handle the takeover negotiation’s. That would certainly account for any delays as they appear to be unable to fulfil their duties to improve the team.
